Rachel John, the 25-year-old influencer romantically linked to Springboks captain Siya Kolisi, has returned home to Amsterdam, leaving many speculating on the status of their relationship.
RUMOURS OF ROMANCE BETWEEN SIYA KOLISI AND RACHEL JOHN
Siya Kolisi is currently going through a divorce from estranged wife, Rachel Kolisi. Rachel and Siya were married for eight years and have two beautiful children together – Nicholas (11) and Keziah (9). The former couple announced their split in a joint statement in October 2024.
In late 2025, Siya sparked romance rumours Rachel John. This began when fans identified her as the woman sitting next to him at the recent ATP Tour Finals in Turin. Since then, Siya has been dropping comments under her posts and it seems they have been at some of the same places, with speculation of Rachel vlogging from Siya’s home in Ballito.
In early 2026, Siya and Rachel went on “baecation” to Victoria Falls. At first, both Siya and Rachel were posting what they were up to in the country. However, they did not post any photos of each other. This was only confirmed to be a “baecation” when a fan spotted them together, boarding a cruise on the Zambezi River.
ARE THEY STILL TOGETHER?
Siya has been based in Durban as he plays for The Sharks. However, he decided at the end of the season he will be moving to The Stormers in Cape Town. This is where Rachel (Kolisi) lives along with his two kids. Siya’s decision to move back to Cape Town, in July this year, is so he can be closer to his children.
“Kolisi will make his return in July 2026 and fulfill an important role mentoring the next generation as the club continues to build the squad’s depth and maturity as part of Project 2029. The move will allow Kolisi to be closer to his family and also make a meaningful contribution to the team where it all started for him after leaving school,” read a statement by The Stormers.
Earlier this month, Rachel (John) revealed that she was going back to Amsterdam, which left many wondering whether she and Siya are still together and making long distance work.
It seems the pair are still in contact as Rachel dropped a comment under Siya’s post of him gifting his brother a new car.
“The best car!🤭,” she wrote.
“@racheljohn ❤️😊,” she replied.
