Sindisiwe Manqele released on parole after serving 7 years for Flabba’s murder

The Department of Correctional Services has placed Sindisiwe Precious Manqele on parole effective from today. Manqele was sentenced to 12 years imprisonment for the murder in of rapper Nkululeko “Flabba” Habedi.

Manqele initially testified that she stabbed her boyfriend in self-defence, but the presiding judge dismissed her version of events, saying the amount of force she used to plunge a steak knife into his chest, showed intent to kill.

Correctional Services has confirmed that Sindisiwe Manqele who was convicted in 2015 of killing musician Nkululeko #Flabba Habedi was today placed on parole.
