Shudufhadzo Musida celebrates completing her master’s degree

Model and former Miss South Africa Shudufhadzo Musida is celebrating after finishing her Master’s degree at Columbia University in New York.

She shared special moments from her time at the university and showed how happy she is to finally complete her studies at the Ivy League school. She reflected on her journey and how far she has come since she first started.

Shudufhadzo shared a message on social media where she wrote, “Pens down. Incoming @columbia Grad. To God be all the glory. The last 12 frames from my first year of school hit different now. From the first week of orientation to the end of first year.”

On her X account, she also wrote, “Mastered.”

She completed her Master of International Affairs (MIA) at Columbia University. Many fans and celebrities congratulated her and praised her achievement.

Shudufhadzo Musida’s Education Journey

Before going to Columbia, Shudufhadzo had already studied a lot.

She completed a short course at the University of Cape Town in Property Development and Investment. The course took 100 hours, and she finished it in 2021.

She also earned her first degree in Philosophy, Politics and Science from the University of Pretoria. After that, she completed her Honours degree in International Relations at the University of the Witwatersrand in 2020.

Her journey shows her strong focus on education and self-growth.

Shudufhadzo Musida Speaks About Mental Health

Shudufhadzo also uses her voice to talk about mental health and personal growth.

She hosts a podcast called Mindful Mondays with Shudu. In the podcast, she talks about mental health, emotions, self-awareness, and dealing with life challenges in an honest way.

Many people admire her for speaking openly about these topics.

Shudufhadzo Musida Inspires Through Books

In 2023, Shudufhadzo Abigail Musida released her second children’s book titled I am Shudu: Finding My Voice, Knowing My Strength. The book explores different themes such as friendships, the power of community, identity, forgiveness and bullying.

Her first book, Shudu Finds Her Magic, was inspired by her own childhood. It talks about bullying and how she moved to a new place and school.

The book was created to help children talk about bullying and mental health. It was published in six different languages.

Now, as she celebrates finishing her Master’s degree, Shudufhadzo continues to inspire many people through her education, voice, and storytelling.
