Trevor Noah used his platform as host of the Grammy Awards to throw shade at rapper Nicki Minaj and US President Donald Trump’s unlikely friendship.

He also mocked the president, who was allegedly named in the Jeffrey Epstein files release over the weekend.

TREVOR NOAH MOCKS NICKI MINAJ, PRESIDENT TRUMP

On Sunday evening, Trevor Noah’s monologue mocking Nicki Minaj and US President Trump became a hot topic.

The South African comedian trended on social media platforms over his choice of words.

In one clip, Noah mocked the rapper’s unlikely friendship with the controversial leader.

He said: “Nicki Minaj is not here. She is still at the White House with Donald Trump, discussing very important issues”.

Noah went on to give an impression of Trump’s conversation with the Anaconda hitmaker.

Noah is referring to Nicki Minaj’s public support of Trump and her recent appearances at the White House.

Trevor Noah then went on to call out President Trump for allegedly being named in the Epstein files release.

The Grammys’ host compared the desire of music artists to win the ‘Album of the Year’ award, with Trump’s wish to take over Greenland as US territory.

He added, “Which makes sense, because Epstein’s island is gone. He needs a new one to hang out with Bill Clinton.”

Noah jokingly added: “What are you going to do about it?”

POTUS, RAPPER RESPOND WITH THREATS

Trevor Noah’s quips did not bode well with neither Nicki Minaj nor President Trump.

The rapper clapped back on her X account, accusing Noah of being “in the closet.”

She posted: “Trevor refuses to come out of the closet when everyone in the industry knows his boyfriend. Allegedly”.

The tweet was accompanied by an image of the artist wearing a cap that read: “Nicki was right about everything.”

Meanwhile, Trump has threatened to sue Trevor Noah, whom he claimed was “the worst” and “virtually unwatchable”.

On his Truth Social app, the president denied any illegal dealings with Jeffrey Epstein.

He posted in a lengthy rant: “The host, Trevor Noah, whoever he may be, is almost as bad as Jimmy Kimmel at the Low Ratings Academy Awards. Noah said, INCORRECTLY, about me, that Donald Trump and Bill Clinton spent time on Epstein Island. WRONG!!! I can’t speak for Bill, but I have never been to Epstein Island, nor anywhere close, and until tonight’s false and defamatory statement, have never been accused of being there, not even by the Fake News Media.

He continued: “Noah, a total loser, better get his facts straight, and get them straight fast. It looks like I’ll be sending my lawyers to sue this poor, pathetic, talentless, dope of an M.C., and suing him for plenty of $… Get ready, Noah, I’m going to have some fun with you”.
