SHOCKER! Lucas Ribeiro Costa wants out at Sundowns!

Lucas Ribeiro Costa is reportedly no longer interested in playing for Mamelodi Sundowns!

Costa has spent the past two seasons with Sundowns, and his future has been the subject of huge speculation.

Now, according to a report by iDiski Times, the Brazilian attacker has requested for the termination of his contract with Sundowns.

However, Sundowns have apparently turned down Ribeiro Costa’s request, forcing the player to approach FIFA.

This reportedly stems from an attempt by Sundowns to block Ribeiro Costa’s move Qatar SC by making high transfer fee demands.

Now, all Ribeiro Costa wants is to walk out of his contract which runs until 2028 so that he can be able to move to Qatar SC.

And it is for this reason he has taken the matter to the FIFA Tribunal and could also approach the Court of Arbitration for Sport.

LUCAS RIBEIRO COSTA WANTS OUT, TAKES SUNDOWNS TO FIFA

“Insiders told this publication that the Qatari side had sent Sundowns “a particularly generous transfer offer” for the Brazilian attacking midfielder, who wanted to join the Qatari club,” reads part of the report.

“But sources claim Sundowns attempted to “drive up the price endlessly and in an unreasonable manner, without any regard for the player’s personal interests”, which made the deal impossible.”
