DJ Shimza supports Chymamusique

Shimza has been applauded across the music scene after making a heartfelt donation of R92 000 towards Chymamusique’s recovery fund.

The DJ and philanthropist reached into his own pocket to support Chyma’s BackaBuddy campaign, created to assist with mounting medical and rehabilitation costs.

Chymamusique has been on a difficult healing journey following a devastating car accident that left him seriously injured and claimed the life of his close friend, DJ Poizen.

The tragedy sent a wave of grief through the industry, with many still mourning the talented DJ’s passing.

Shimza’s financial contribution gave the campaign a major boost and inspired warm reactions from fans who praised him for showing genuine solidarity.

Many noted that gestures like this reflect the spirit of unity within South Africa’s creative community, especially during moments of loss and hardship.

Support continues to pour in for Chymamusique as he focuses on recovery while processing the pain of losing a friend.

Shimza’s donation has been described as a reminder of how much strength can be found when artists stand together.
