Shimza claps back at weight loss rumours with workout proof

Shimza accused of using Ozempic to lose weight

DJ and producer Shimza has found himself at the centre of online backlash after unveiling his noticeably slimmer look.

Instead of receiving the praise many expected, trolls accused him of relying on Ozempic, the diabetes medication that has become a go-to weight loss aid among celebrities.

The speculation grew so intense that Shimza felt the need to prove himself.

On 9 September 2025, he shared a now-viral video from the gym, showing himself on a treadmill after completing a 5 km run.

Alongside the clip, he cheekily addressed the critics: “I laugh with you, at me, that way everyone is happy.”

While the star has never shied away from criticism, he admitted he didn’t anticipate having to defend his fitness journey to strangers on the internet.

His post, however, served as a firm statement that his transformation was achieved the traditional way, through dedication and hard work in the gym.

I laugh with you, at me, that way everyone is happy 😅🤣 pic.twitter.com/FhDtnBcy4l
