Kholofelo Chuene, girlfriend of controversial Lekompo musician Shebeshxt, has taken to social media to appeal for his release from custody.

Chuene shared a video on TikTok featuring a statement calling on the public to rally behind the artist, whose real name is Lehlogonolo Katlego Chauke.

“We, the undersigned, members of society, hereby pledge our support to Lehlogonolo Katlego Chauke also known as Shebeshxt. We humbly request the court to give him one last chance to be out on bail!!!” the statement read.

Accompanying the post was a link to a formal bail petition, with Chuene encouraging her followers to engage with the post.

“Like and share in support of your favourite Lekompo king,” she urged, appealing to fans to help amplify the message.

Her plea comes amid the ongoing legal battles surrounding Shebeshxt, as fans and supporters weigh in on the musician’s bid for bail.
