Internet users expressed shock upon finding out that Wanda Zuma and Shalate Sekhabi are in a romantic relationship in real life.

The pair starred on House of Zwide and embodied a married couple (Nkosi Zwide and Shoki Zwide), before Shalate left the show. The shock comes after pictures of Shalate and Wanda were widely shared on social media with congratulatory messages on their engagement. This is after Shalate took to her Instagram page to share a video clip of her showcasing her engagement ring. Some had their suspicions when they saw them attending events together. However, the pair had not confirmed that they were in a romantic relationship.

PopPulse also took to X (formerly Twitter) to break the news. In their post, they said: “Congratulations to House of Zwide stars Shalate Sekhabi and Wanda Zuma on their engagement.” The post was accompanied with their pictures.
