Shaka iLembe star Lemogang Tsipa set to launch his music career

Lemogang Tsipa, the star of the popular TV show “Shaka iLembe,” is known for his portrayal of the character Shaka. However, the talented actor is now gearing up to launch his music career and expand his brand as a performing artist.

A Drummer at Heart

Lemogang has been a drummer from a young age and has always had a passion for music. In an interview with DJ Fresh, he revealed that he is ready to move into the music space as a performing artist. “I’ve been a drummer longer than I’ve been an actor,” he said. “I’m moving into the music space as a performing artist so people can expect that. I’m not leaving acting.”

A Range of Music

Lemogang has promised to make a range of music, dabbling in genres including maskandi, amapiano, and afro beats, among others. “I’m making a song for everybody, so there’s no excuse,” he said. “Everybody should have one of my songs on their playlist at some point.”

A Hundred Songs and Counting

In an interview with BubblegumClub, Lemogang revealed that he has already recorded 100 songs and is eager for people to hear them. “I’ve got a lot of music I’ve been working on,” he said. “A lot of people don’t know I’ve been a musician longer than I’ve been an actor. Hopefully, I will be able to do both and balance both. There are great examples of people who have done it successfully. I see myself being able to do it. I’m passionate about both.”

Rebranding on Social Media

Lemogang has started to rebrand himself on social media, sharing updates about his music career with his fans. While they wait in anticipation for his first body of work, the actor has shared a SoundCloud link to some of his old music from two years ago.
