SGB shuts down Job Rathebe Secondary school in Soweto

As school reopen for the third term, teaching and learning at Job Rathebe Secondary school in Soweto may not take place today as classes across the country resume after the winter break. Parents are unhappy with the conditions at the institution.

The SGB and the community  members are alluding that the conditions in the schools are not in good standard for the learners.

The bathroom are allegedly flooded with sewerage and the learners are also complaining of overcrowding in classrooms.

Speaking to the ENCA, Myron Shongwe said that the want the education department officials to come to the school to hear their grievances and address their concern.

the  SGB also complaining about the school principal who is always off duty due to illness. They are alluding that the principal is running the school all by herself.
