Label owner, artist manager and podcaster Sfiso ‘Mafitsotso’ Ndlovu recently conveyed his heartfelt apology to musician Thatohatsi Raphadi following his body-shaming comments.

Sfiso took time from the podcast to apologise to Thatohatsi about what he said on the video clip that went viral on social media. Before he apologised, he expressed that he is more concerned about Thatohatsi because she is hurt.

“My comment on the full context of the clip was not meant to hurt you. There is no way or day in life I would wake up in the morning and decide to hurt someone like you. I care about you so much. I’m really sorry for my part in the clip that is trending, that is edited with Nota’s. It makes sense for whatever whoever wants it to make sense for, and I can’t account for that. But I can account for my part on breaking your heart and how you are feeling right now,” he said.

He also said that Thatohatsi looks exactly like his daughter, and he loves her.

After the viral comments that were made on the podcast, Thatohatsi reacted with a heart-wrenching video clip which had had a message that read: “If they knew how long it took for 1 to love me and live looking like this.”

Later, she shared her gratitude to her fans for their love and support.

“I would like to thank each and everyone who has been so supportive to me. I read your messages, comments and videos that were made to uplift me, ngyabonga ngok’khulu ukuy’thoba (thank you very much),” she wrote. “Without God and you guys, I don’t think I would’ve gained so much strength to come back and be myself again.”

X (formerly Twitter) users weighed in:

You’re not apologizing because of what you said, it’s because there’s outrage. The sooner they cancel this podcast, the better. Always speaking nonsense. https://t.co/GyHycDsVDw

“If I were to lock her up for a year, and just feed her fat, she wouldn’t gain weight” wasn’t meant to be hurtful? Mxm fuck off man ✋🏾 https://t.co/rtReDJKVi1
