Mamelodi Sundowns defender Mosa Lebusa has completed a move to Stellenbosch.

The struggling Cape side have reportedly landed Lebusa as a free agent.

Stellenbosch currently sit just one position above the relegation zone.

Newly appointed head coach Gavin Hunt will now be able to turn to the experience of Lebusa to help steady the ship.

“Stellenbosch FC completed the signing of Mamelodi Sundowns‘ defender Mosa Lebusa, signed as a free agent after his exit from the club,” an IDiski Times report read.

Mosa Lebusa joined Mamelodi Sundowns back in 2018. The utility defender made over 207 appearances for the club.

He original made a name for himself at Cape Town Spurs (formerly Ajax Cape Town).

Now, he’ll return to the Cape where saving Stellenbosch from relegation will be his number one priority.
