Selena Gomez and Benny Blanco are making headlines as they ramp up preparations for their highly anticipated wedding this September.

The pop superstar and hit music producer have reportedly doubled their security measures. This is after details about their wedding, including the exclusive guest list and location, were leaked in mid-July.

According to insiders, security has become Gomez’s top priority following the leak. “Security for Selena’s wedding will be of the utmost importance because many of the guests will be A-list,” an insider shared.

A-listers are expected to attend, among them Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce. Actors from Gomez’s show Only Murders In The Building, will also be in attendence, accordingto Page Six.

There is serious focus on keeping the event private and guests safe.

NO-PHONE POLICY

The Selena Gomez and Benny are also considering a strict no-phone policy for the occasion. “She is going back and forth on whether or not to allow people to have their phones as an extra measure of security and privacy.

This is along with the fact that she wants everyone to be present,” another source revealed.

In a world where exclusive moments can be instantly broadcast online, this decision is especially relevant to those who rely on social media for intimate glimpses into celebrity lives.

The wedding is set to take place over two days in the luxurious enclave of Montecito, California.

Insiders indicate that invitations have already gone out to a tight circle of family and friends. “Everyone invited has been asked to bring overnight bags to stay for the weekend,” said the source.

This hints at an intimate yet lavish affair. Despite whispers that the timing was adjusted for Taylor Swift’s busy schedule, a source clarified.

“Selena is not having her wedding to accommodate Taylor, but she wants her to attend and she would love for her to be able to go with Travis.”

SELENA GOMEZ AND BENNY’S LOVE

Gomez and Blanco announced their engagement in December 2024 after over a year together. Their hectic careers have reportedly left scant time for planning.

Blanco candidly revealed, “We’re both working on so many things that we hadn’t even had time to get into it, but we’re so excited.”

Despite the pressure and media frenzy, the couple remains optimistic and focused. “The security is about protecting not just themselves, but all their friends as well,” the insider stressed.

With the event set to unfold in just weeks, fans can look forward to updates on one of the year’s biggest celebrity weddings.
