Sekhukune & Downs Starting XIs Announced

Sekhukhune United and Mamelodi Sundowns are set to battle this afternoon at the New Peter Mokaba Stadium, and the two teams have confirmed their starting line-ups for the game.

It still early days in the 2022/2023 DStv Premiership season, with Babina Noko finding themselves in eighth after picking up one win, one draw and one defeat, while Downs are in fifth spot following two wins and a surprise defeat to TS Galaxy.

But a victory for either team would take them closer to the table toppers, AmaZulu FC.

Sekhukhune is coming to this game with their tail between the legs following a 1-0 defeat to KwaZulu Natal-based side Richards Bay, while Sundowns are full of confidence after hammering their arch-rivals Kaizer Chiefs by 4-0.

Both teams have only met twice previously, with both encounters last season ending in favour of Masandawana, who collected two 2-0 wins home and away from home.
