Sekhukhune vs Sundowns Line-ups Confirmed

Sekhukhune United will be aiming to end their slump when they host DStv Premiership champions Mamelodi Sundowns at Ellis Park today – here is how the teams’ line-up.

Sekhukhune enter the game on a seven-match winless run against a Sundowns team, who just wrapped up their fifth consecutive league title last week.

Masandawana have only lost two games all season and despite already being crowned champions, head coach Manqoba Mngqithi insists they still have something to play for in their final four league games.

“They have a very strong decision from defence to attack with players like Madonsela and Mahlangu, those players can cause you problems,” Mngqithi said ahead of the game.

“We understand very well what to expect in this match. They’ve got very good pace in attack, that makes them a team to be respected.”

Babina Noko recently bolstered their technical team with Owen da Gama arriving as a co-head coach alongside McDonald Makhubedu and will be looking for a strong end to the season in order to secure a top-eight finish in their debut campaign in the top-flight.

Sekhukhune XI: Nsabata, Mahlangu, Kabwe, Motsepe, Gyimah, Maart, Parusnath, Madonsela, Molaba, Mncube, Ohizu.

Subs: Dlamini, Mobbie, Chabalala, Ledwaba, Katsande, Sithole, Nxumalo, Shonga, Kobela.

Sundowns XI: Pieterse, Mudau, Modiba, Lebusa (c), Kekana, Mkhulise, Maema, Maboe, Sirino, Zwane, Shalulile.

Subs: Mweene, Maraisane, Lakay, Lunga, Morena, Kutumela, Mokoena, Kapinga, Motupa.
