Zim Dancehall artist Seh Calaz cried out to Chamisa and ED as three (3) people are confirmed dead in Mbare Magaba civil war. Mbare Magaba is a crowded area full of vendors; many do not have trading licenses. This means that people share tables to see their products as they try to put food on the table. Historically, Magaba is an area where one has to have a strong affiliation to operate successfully. It seemed that one would require private security since the police have since failed to restore order in that area.
For some time now, there had been a rumour that one would need to be affiliated with the ruling party to get a table in Magaba. This rumour remains unconfirmed by the Zanu PF party, but it seemed clear to all on the ground. It’s been four days since the Magaba civil broke, and it’s been on since then. Many hoped that the police would wither the storm, but they have failed, and so are several newspapers and bloggers. Indeed, Seh Calaz decided to share on Facebook how bad things have become in Mbare Magaba. From his explanation, Magaba is now a war zone one must run away from.
Seh Calaz said that the Mbare Magaba civil war had claimed three deaths.
For some time now, Seh Calaz has grown to be Mbare’s spoke person on many issues that affect people. He has taken such a role and is a person Mbare residents look up to. The Mumota muri kubvira hitmaker said it’d been four days of chaos in Mbare, with the police failing to stop it. What now for the young, pregnant, and elderly kids if the police cannot restore order in four days? Seh Calaz had the answer to these questions from the ground.
The Ghetto King Seh Calaz said many people were injured with broken legs and hands. He also said that he is getting many calls and messages from Mbare residents who are seriously living in fear. The war is declared between Zanu PF youths and CCC youths fighting for dominance and control of the busy business area. Indeed, this is a bad sign, especially for next year’s elections. After a long message, Seh Calaz called for peace and for the political party leaders to resolve the issue. He also called the police to arrest the thugs who had made Mbare a dangerous place.
