Former Lamontville Golden Arrows head coach Lehlohonolo Seema has been rumoured to be joining Maritzburg United.
Seema parted-ways with Arrows in April this year after a 6-0 drubbing against Mamelodi Sundowns at Loftus Versfeld Stadium.
iDiskiTimes has learnt that Seema could be roped in by the Team of Choice as assistant coach to struggling John Maduka after both coaches previously worked together as Bloemfontein Celtic before it was sold.
Maritzburg United have dropped to the bottom of the log after nine games and only collecting nine points so far.
Even though Maduka stated that he is not under pressure after losing to Stellenbosch FC by 3-0 a week ago, it is raising eyebrows to see the team in the relegation zone after club chairman Farouk Kadodia made it clear at the beginning of the season that the mandate is not to fight relegation in 2022/23.
Maduka only joined the club ahead of the new season, replacing Ernst Middendorp who had finished in 12th position with the team in 2021/22.
