Scotts Maphuma dragged for throwing a groove on a Tuesday night

Scotts Maphuma dragged for partying on Tuesday instead of resting

Amapiano star Scotts Maphuma is catching heat online after hosting a full-blown party on a Tuesday night.

The midweek groove left many social media users confused, and slightly judgmental, as they questioned why anyone would be out dancing while most people were preparing for work the next day.

The event, known as Phuma Tuesdays, took place on 15 July 2025 at the Tessel 2.0 venue in Daveyton.

A video from the party, shared by TheYanosUpdate on X, showed a lively crowd and surprise appearances from big names like Focalistic, Young Stunna, and DJ Maphorisa, who often collaborates with Scotts.

While the energy seemed electric on the ground, the reaction online was mixed.

Netizens had a lot to say, especially those who couldn’t imagine hitting the club midweek.

One user, @kay_mahapa, wrote: “Nah, okes. Tuesday?! Nah.”

Others chimed in with jokes about unemployment being the only reason some fans had the energy to groove on a school night.

Some even questioned the logic behind throwing a major party outside of the weekend, despite the growing popularity of midweek events like Mogodu Mondays.
