Former Moroka Swallows and Kaizer Chiefs defender Yagan Sasman has been hailed after completing a move to Swedish club AFC Eskilstuna.

Sasman, 27, left Swallows at the end of last season after two years at the club where he was a regular feature since his arrival from Chiefs.

But after three goals in 51 appearances, the versatile centre-back has now moved on to the Swedish second tier to continue the next stage of his career.

“Yagan Sasman is good at reading the game,” the club’s CEO Mikael Larsson said about youth product Ajax Cape Town (Cape Town Spurs).

“He has great timing in his tackles and is good in the air. He is an experienced player with a lot of playing time at a high level.”

Sasman joins his former teammate Tashreeq Matthews in Sweden, who’s currently starring in the Allsvenskan with IK Sirius.
