Media personality and best-selling children’s book author Salamina Mosese has excitedly revealed the cover of her new children’s book.

The new book, titled Neo’s Invisible Blanket, will be available in bookstores nationwide and online from 1 October 2025. The book tells the story of Neo, and it encourages children to know that the most powerful tools we carry are the ones we cannot see, but can always feel—like courage, love, belief, and imagination. The book will be available in IsiXhosa, English, IsiZulu, Sepedi and Afrikaans.

The former BONA cover star, recently took to her Instagram page to share the news. Salamina shared a video clip of her unboxing the book, her hands shaking with excitement.

Talking about her new book, the former 7 de Laan actress said: “As a mom and an aunt, I’ve seen how our children carry both big dreams and quiet fears. I wanted to write a story that shows them that courage doesn’t mean not being afraid—it means finding a way to move forward anyway.

“Neo’s journey reminds us all that sometimes the most powerful tools we carry are the ones we cannot see, but can always feel—like courage, love, belief, and imagination,” she penned.

This is Salamina’s third book, with the previous ones titled: Cook-off At Gogo’s Spaza and Disaster At Gogo’s Spaza.

Instagram users weighed in:

“Oh my Gosh! I would like to see the Xhosa version,” said one user.

Another one said: “Not Neo. My son NEO is definitely getting a copy.”

While another one said: “Queening! About to buy 20. Thank you for writing for our children, nieces and nephews and grandkids. We are so proud!”
