South African television personality Salamina Mosese has announced the release of her new children’s picture book, set to hit bookstores and online retailers nationwide on 1 October 2025.

Drawing inspiration from her experiences as a mother and aunt, Mosese wrote the story to show children that courage does not mean the absence of fear, but the ability to move forward despite it.

Her book follows the journey of Neo, a character who discovers that the most powerful tools, courage, love, belief, and imagination, are often invisible, yet always felt.

“Neo’s journey reminds us all that sometimes the most powerful tools we carry are the ones we cannot see, but can always feel,” Mosese shared on social media. “I hope this book will find its way into your hearts.”

Mosese expressed gratitude to Pan Macmillan SA Kids for believing in her vision and praised the illustrator Subi Bosa for bringing the story to life.

The book promises to be an inspiring addition to children’s literature in South Africa, encouraging young readers to embrace bravery, imagination, and self-belief.
