The South African Football Association (SAFA) confirmed the candidates that have been cleared to contest for Presidency in the latest elections.
With current President Danny Jordaan running for another term in office, SAFA CEO Tebogo Motlanthe confirmed on Monday afternoon at the official press conference at SAFA House that the following candidates have been cleared to contest the 2022 elections.
Ria Ledwaba former vice-president, Solly Mohlabeng, who was elected SAFA Tshwane President unopposed last month and Dr. Jordaan was announced as the three set to contest the elections by Motlanthe
The endorsed candidates will now begin their campaigns ahead of the highly anticipated elective congress which is set to be held in two weeks, on 25 June.
