SA Ref Heading To Morocco

CAF have announced the list of referees who will officiate at the CAF African Women’s Cup of Nations in Morocco next month and South Africa will be represented.

 

The experienced Akhona Makalima will be Mzansi’s representative at the finals, as she was named as one of the 16 referees who will officiate games at the CAF showpiece.

The tournament kicks off on the 2nd of July and will be completed three weeks later.

Banyana Banyana are currently preparing for the tournament, and coach Desiree Ellis is expected to name her final squad in the coming week. You can read an interview with Ellis in the latest edition of iDiski Times.
