The health department recorded 785 new COVID-19 cases. Gauteng recorded 318 cases followed by KwaZulu-Natal with 158 and the Western Cape with 156 cases.
Nearly 13,700 tests were conducted, taking the positivity rate to 5.7 percent.
Zero deaths were reported and the death toll sits at 99,412.
