Saleng eyed up by Danish outfit Odense

According to @RealTshemedi on Twitter, Monnapule Saleng is a target for Danish top-flight team Odense. They’ve yet to make a formal approach, but the interest is concrete. Saleng sparkled for Pirates last term, bagging 15 goals and 11 assists in 30 matches across all competitions. Back in June, it was reported that UAE outfit Al Nasr made a lucrative offer to Saleng but it didn’t materialise. Now, we wait and see if Odense make a big play for the 25-year-old Bafana Bafana superstar.

Saleng key as Orlando Pirates defend their MTN8 crown

Orlando Pirates square up against Sekhukhune in the MTN8 quarter-finals on Saturday 12 August at 3pm. This, of course, is a replay of last season’s Nedbank Cup final.
