Royals in the crowd: Meghan and Harry enjoy Beyoncé’s Cowboy Carter concert

Meghan Markle and Prince Harry brought out their inner cowboys at a Beyoncé concert over the weekend at SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles.

The Duchess of Sussex shared images and videos on her Instagram of the couple enjoying Beyoncé’s Cowboy Carter tour.

“About last night…. Thank you Beyoncé and team for an amazing concert (and a very fun date night)! All love,” wrote Markle.

The tour supports Beyoncé’s eighth studio album, Cowboy Carter.

The tour started in late April and will run until mid-July. It will see the Grammy-award-winning singer perform in North America and parts of Europe.

Meghan reflects on relationship

The Instagram post comes a few weeks after Markle opened up about her relationship with Harry on the Jamie Kern Lima Show podcast, sharing that things were difficult for the couple when they started dating.

“You have to imagine, at the beginning, everyone has butterflies,” the duchess said on the podcast, “and then we immediately went into the trenches together—right out of the gate, like six months into dating.”

“So now, seven years later, when you have a little bit of breathing space, you can just enjoy each other in a new way, and that’s why I feel like it’s more of a honeymoon period for us now,” she said.

The royal couple moved from the United Kingdom to California in the United States in 2020 after retiring as senior working royals.

Royals not attending pope’s inauguration

King Charles and Prince William will not attend Pope Leo XIV’s inauguration mass. Instead, Buckingham Palace will send Prince Edward.

A spokesperson for Buckingham Palace confirmed to People that Edward, the Duke of Edinburgh, will represent His Majesty at the ceremony.

In April, William attended the late Pope Francis’ funeral in Vatican City, a duty typically assigned to the heir to the throne.
