Orlando Pirates coach Jose Riveiro has says the club’s three latest signings are available for selection on Saturday against Mamelodi Sundowns for the MTN8 semi final first-leg clash.
Pirates announced two signings on transfer deadline day; Ndabayithethwa Ndlondlo from Marumo Gallants and Sipho Chaine from Chippa United.
A day after they reunited with Kermit Erasmus after he parted ways with Sundowns.
“They will give us some new tools to try to continue winning games. The adaptation is going so far so good, they will be available,” Riveiro told the media.
“We play Saturday, we don’t know who is going to be available or not, its still a long way to go. We are so happy to have them in the group.
“Happy with the new recruitments, we have a good group of players. The three more who are coming, are coming with the intention to help us to do things better and be part of good collective.
Riveiro also shared his view about Kermit Erasmus who make a shock return to the club.
“I find an experienced player, smart and professional because he’s in good fitness level. That shows me he’s been taking care of himself. He’s ready to perform, he’s ready to play.
“It takes time he just arrived a few days ago, few experiences with the group, with the team and methods. We have to be patient,” Riveiro added.
Pirates will be aiming to end Masandawana dominance. Last season, the Bucs lost home and away to Tshwane giants in the league.
Kickoff at Orlando Stadium is at 15:30.
