Chiefs will be without Keagan Dolly, Happy Mashiane, Wandile Duba, Ranga Chivaviro and Ashley Du Preez for the club’s pre-season friendly with Yanga this afternoon. No details about the severity of these injuries are currently available, but it’s not ideal preparation for new boss Molefi Ntseki.

Tanzanian giants Yanga SC have lifted successive trebles and Ntseki is eager for his side to test themselves against one of the finest sides on the continent. He believes the Yanga tie will help prepare his charges for future continental challenges. Yanga SC, also known as Young Africans, are a team of fine pedigree.

Yanga and Chiefs kickoff today at 6pm from the Benjamin Mkapa Stadium in Dar es Salaam. Next weekend, on July 29th, Chiefs face Thatayaone Ditlhokwe’s old club Township Rollers.
