Well-known South African economist Mike Schüssler has died after a short battle with cancer. Schüssler was working at the Road Freight Association.
Schüssler founded Economists.co.za in 2005. He’s also credited for creating several indices.
They include the Bankserv Disposable Salary Index, the ABSA bank/Barclays Africa SME index, and the South African Employment Report,
He’s survived by his wife Greta.
