Permanent Position

Remuneration: An all-inclusive package of R 141 402 per annum
(Total cost of employment)

The South African Board for Sheriffs (SABFS) is responsible for the maintenance of the esteem of, the enhancement of the status of, and the improvement of the standard of training of and functions performed by sheriffs, in a manner that enhances access to justice.
The Board seeks to appoint a progressive, service-oriented and results-driven individual to effectively provide innovative, cost-effective and value-added Front Desk Reception services to the SABFS.

 

KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS
• Responsible for the management of the switchboard for the entire organisation;
• Responsible for managing the reception area;
• Provide secretarial & administrative support to the division/organisation;
• Provide secretarial & admin support for HR & OHS activities as required.
• Responsible for overseeing of the office consumables

 

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
• Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
• Action-oriented: able to take tasks to completion
• Meticulous, with high attention to detail
• Interpersonal skills
• Able to maintain a very high degree of confidentiality
• Able to work well in a team

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
• Matric or equivalent, and minimum three (3) years working experience as a Receptionist or Customer Service Administrator
• Certificate or Diploma in secretariat, Reception or front office management or equivalent.

NOTE: Communication will be limited to shortlisted candidates. The preferred candidate(s) may be subjected to a competency assessment, security clearance and qualification verification.
