IMPACT-BASED WARNINGS:

Yellow Level 1 warning: Waves resulting in difficulties in navigation at sea for small vessels and person water- craft (e.g. kayaks) are expected between Hondeklip Bay and Cape Agulhas.

FIRE DANGER WARNINGS:

ADVISORIES:

An intense cold front is expected over the Eastern Cape from Tuesday afternoon into Wednesday. The public is advised that very cold conditions can be expected.

Gauteng

Temperature: Fine and cool, becoming partly by the evening.

The expected UVB Sunburn Index: High.

Mpumalanga

Temperature: Fine and cool but warm in the Lowveld.

Limpopo

Temperature: Morning fog over the central parts, otherwise partly cloudy and cool to warm.

North West

Temperature: Fine and cool, but partly cloudy over the north-eastern parts

Free State

Temperature: Fine and cold to cool.

Northern Cape

Temperature: Fine and cool to warm, but cold over the south-western high-grounds.

Wind: – The wind along the coast will be fresh to strong southeasterly.

Western Cape

Temperature: Fine and cool in the west, otherwise partly cloudy and cold with light rain from late morning along the south coast.

Wind: The wind along the coast will be moderate to fresh southeasterly, becoming strong from the afternoon but light to moderate southerly to south-westerly along the south coast.

The expected UVB Sunburn Index: Low.

Eastern Cape

The Western half: Morning fog is expected in the south, otherwise partly cloudy and cold with afternoon isolated showers of rain.

The Western half – Wind: The wind along the coast will be moderate south-westerly, becoming fresh in the afternoon.

The Eastern half: Fine and cool, but partly cloudy along the coast and adjacent interior, becoming cloudy with isolated evening showers of rain.

The Eastern half – Wind: The wind along the coast will be moderate south-westerly, becoming fresh in the evening

KwaZulu-Natal

Temperature: Fine and cool, but warm in the north-east. It will become partly cloudy in the east in the evening.

Wind: The wind along the coast will be moderate to fresh northerly to north-easterly north of Richards Bay, otherwise southwesterly.
