A new chapter of purpose-driven work

The philanthropist and author introduced the Falling Forward Foundation as a platform focused on amplifying the efforts of existing organisations rather than replacing them. The initiative reflects her continued commitment to social impact work following her departure from the Kolisi Foundation, which she previously led alongside her ex, Springbok captain Siya Kolisi.

Through the new foundation, Rachel aims to support grassroots initiatives that are already making a difference in communities, with a strong emphasis on collaboration and sustainability.

Rachel Kolisi focuses on healthcare and community upliftment

One of the key partnerships highlighted by Rachel is with the Impilo Project, an initiative focused on improving access to quality healthcare in underserved communities. The project has helped deliver mobile health services and community-based healthcare days, reaching hundreds of people with essential care.

Taking to her Instagram page, Rachel shared an unfiltered testimony of a little girl who received assistance through the work done by the Failing Forward Foundation and Impilo Project.

Sharing how a new pair of glasses has improved her life, 12-year-old Lucky expressed how she used to struggle to see what was written on the class board.

“These glasses are actually an inspiration of hope that I should never, ever give up,” she added.

Public response and growing interest

Since sharing updates on social media, the initiative has drawn widespread support from people who have praised Rachel’s transparency and continued commitment to community upliftment.

Commenting on the video, one internet user said, “Busy crying, amazing work! Such an amazing, brave-hearted being! Praying for nothing but love and light for your life onwards, Lucky.”

“Wow! What a special being! She certainly shines. And what an impactful foundation you guys have created, helping others together,” added another.

Building long-term impact

As the Falling Forward Foundation expands, its focus remains on collaboration, empowerment, and measurable social change.

The initiative signals a broader shift toward partnership-driven philanthropy, aiming to create lasting benefits for communities across the country.
