Rachel Kolisi likes comment comparing ex to SATAN

Rachel Kolisi – the ex-wife of Springbok captain Siya Kolisi – has seemingly thrown subtle shade at her ex after liking comments calling him out as “evil”, “Satan”, and commenting on his Xhosa ethnicity.

The influencer and philanthropist has been vocal about her mental health struggles amid her ongoing divorce.

Rachel and Siya – who announced their separation a year ago – have both adjusted to life as single parents.

On her TikTok account, Rachel Kolisi posted a cryptic post, suggesting the real reason behind her split from Siya Kolisi.

The post had the soundtrack of a woman talking about being “betrayed” by a partner.

Part of it featured the words: “As you’re falling, look up and you see your person watching you. They’re watching you fall and hit the ground, and they’re smiling. The fall breaks every bone in your body.

Your person didnt stop the airplane, they didnt land it, they didnt come back to see if you were ok, or even apologise…Instead, they picked up a new person along the way…You don’t understand love anymore, you’ve met evil. They’ve killed a part of you before you were ready to die”.

In the comments section, Rachel Kolisi liked a comment from a woman who compared her experience to her own, particularly when it came to their choice of partners.

Milele commented of her ex: “Yes, he’s Xhosa, agents of Satan. Very selfish beings.”

Rachel liked another that read: “…even after having met evil…Goodness still prevails…And now every day you recognise your past for what it was…an incredibly painful revelation of who you are in Christ, but a much-needed revelation nonetheless”.

DRINKING, PARTYING, AND CHEATING?

Rachel Kolisi’s comments have suggested that Siya Kolisi was unfaithful during their relationship, an allegation that has come up repeatedly.

In his 2023 release of his autobiography Rise, Siya opened up about the side of him that nobody knew – his heavy drinking, frequenting strip clubs, and reckless spending.

Much of it came before and after his 2016 marriage to Rachel. In 2015, just months after Rachel had given birth to their first child, Nicholas, Siya flew to England to play in the World Cup.

He was not a regular fixture in the squad and claimed he used his time off to drink himself into oblivion.

He wrote in the book: “Rachel [my wife] had come out with baby Nick, and this would have been the perfect opportunity to spend some time with them; but no, I preferred to be out with the boys.

“It was an awful time for her, and I was too selfish to realise. In the end, Rachel got fed up with me being a jerk and flew home a week early.”

“Rachel had had enough. If it had been an isolated incident, that would have been one thing, but it wasn’t.”

Siya Kolisi also alluded to cheating on Rachel when his Christian mentor Ben Schoeman told him, “Siya, you drink a lot, you fool around with women, you go to strip clubs. You post on social media about your faith in Christ, but you’re lying to yourself and everyone else.”
