RACHEL KOLISI ON WORKING AT A BNB: ‘I WAS MAKING BEDS’

While critics have labelled Rachel “spoilt”, she previously opened up about working at a Bnb, making beds while married to Springboks captain Siya Kolisi.

“So once Nic, because Nic couldn’t go to a creche because he had very under developed lungs… so once he went to school I was like okay I’ve got time, but I couldn’t find a job… so I painted my entire house,” she said in an interview with Anele Mdoda on 947 Radio.

“I just started applying as a receptionist, anything, just to have my own money again. And the only job I could find was at a Bnb. So, I was making beds, making breakfast, dealing with very interesting…,” she continued.

This revelation was made just after Rachel revealed that she had to leave work to take care of her son Nicholas as well as Siya’s two siblings Liyema and Liphelo. She explained that leaving work was “horrific” as she had to start asking for money for “pads, tampons, shampoo”.
