Tickets for the match at Moses Mabhida Stadium only went on sale on Wednesday but are selling out fast.

On Friday morning, the PSL confirmed that more than 70% have already been sold out.

“Tickets went on sale at 15h00 on Wednesday, 26 October 2022. By 09h00 this morning (Friday, 28 October 2022), over 70% of tickets had already been sold,” the PSL said via a statement.

“A limited number of tickets are still available at Ticketpro outlets countrywide including Spar, Choppies, BP, Caltex, Sasol, Shell, Total, and Global fuel stations for only R80 each.

Choose any unlimited 4G or 5G plan. Only start paying next month.

“Match tickets can also be purchased online (www.Ticketpro.co.za). Spectators who have purchased tickets online will be requested to display their tickets on their mobile devices. A4 printed tickets will not be accepted.”

Orlando Pirates will take on AmaZulu, who could lift their first MTN8 trophy, while the Buccaneers have won the MTN8 three times since 2008 and 10 times overall.

The Sea Robbers qualified after eliminating defending champions in the semi-final, thanks to a 3-0 thumping of the DStv Premiership champions, while AmaZulu knocked out Kaizer Chiefs on away goals.

Usuthu picked up a 1-1 draw at FNB Stadium in the first leg, which was enough to progress after the second leg ended in a goalless draw.

The MTN8 final will kick off at 18:00 on 5 November.
