Popular Zimbabwean preacher Passion Java and his wife, Lily Java, have officially parted ways after a decade of marriage and three children together.
The news was confirmed by Lily, who revealed that their union had been legally dissolved some time ago.
“After prayer, counsel and much reflection, I want to formally acknowledge that my marriage has been legally dissolved for some time,” she shared.
She emphasised that their three sons remain their central focus despite the end of their relationship.
“Our three sons continue to be our highest priority, and we are committed to raising them with stability, love, and intentional care. We are no longer connected in marriage, leadership, or vision. Each of us is pursuing the individual path and assignment God has entrusted to us.”
Describing the separation as a considered decision, Lily said it was made with “sobriety, clarity, and conviction,” adding that choosing peace does not mean endorsing the past, but rather embracing wisdom for the future.
She also clarified that their personal lives and ministries will now move forward independently.
Passion Java echoed similar sentiments, noting that the decision to divorce was not taken lightly.
“Though our marriage has come to an end, we remain friends and committed partners in raising our three beautiful children. We are both fully involved in their lives and will continue to co-parent with love, respect, and unity. Family remains a priority to me. Divorce does not change my responsibility or dedication as a father. This new season allows us to walk in those callings separately with clarity and purpose, while maintaining peace and mutual respect.”
