Princess Beatrice considering US move

Princess Beatrice is reportedly considering a move to the US after her father Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor’s scandalous arrest linked to his ties to Jeffrey Epstein.

WILL PRINCESS BEATRICE MOVE TO THE US?

Princess Beatrice is reportedly considering moving to the US after her father Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor’s arrest over his ties to sex offender Jeffrey Epstein. Andrew, the former Prince, was arrested on his 66th birthday on 19 February. He was arrested on suspicion of misconduct in public office for allegedly passing secret documents to pedophile pal Jeffrey Epstein.

Beatrice, the eldest daughter of Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor and Sarah Ferguson is reportedly “mortified” by the Epstein scandal. A source told Daily Mail, that she is “desperate to hold things together” in the midst of the public scrutiny of her family.

Beatrice is married to Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi, who has a property business, which she would need to consider if she decided to move to the US. The pair have two children together – Sienna Elizabeth (born September 2021) and Athena Elizabeth Rose (born January 2025).

OTHER ROYALS WHO HAVE LEFT THE UK

The move has become more of a possibility as other family members, such as her cousin Prince Harry and his wife Meghan Markle have also left the UK for the US. As well as her younger sister Princess Eugenie.

Princess Eugenie lives between a home in Portugal and Ivy Cottage at Kensington Palace in London. The Princess and her husband, Jack Brooksbank, moved to Portugal in May 2022. This was due to his work in marketing and hospitality. The pair reside in the London property when visiting the UK.

“Her sister Eugenie has lived abroad for many years now and that set the precedent,” said the source to the publication, adding the move “would have been unthinkable a few years ago but now times are very different.”

“Moving abroad, most likely to the United States, would be a fresh start for Beatrice and Edo and it would also mean they could give their marriage a kick start and get it back on track,” the source continued.

Sources say that the couple are “sitting ducks” as “there is the police investigation which will last several months and if Andrew is charged then there will be a trial and that’s just more attention they can do without.”

A source also noted that the move would be an easy one for them.

“A move to the United States would certainly seem obvious for them. Edo spends a lot of time there so I can easily see them moving there,” said the source to Daily Mail.
