Prince Kaybee says men should stop screaming at shows

South African DJ and producer Prince Kaybee has set social media abuzz with a cheeky take on men’s behaviour at music events.

Taking to his X (formerly Twitter) page, the Fetch Your Life hitmaker jokingly declared that he wouldn’t hang out with any man who screams when a DJ shouts “make some noise” during a set.

“If you are going to scream as a man when the DJ says ‘make some noise’, I am not going anywhere with you anymore nigga!!!” he posted.

The lighthearted jab quickly went viral, prompting fans to flood his mentions with jokes, memes, and playful counterarguments. Some users defended the men, while others joined in on the banter.

One person teased:

“So even when a Kasi hypeman says ‘everybody say screaaaam!!’”

Another user argued:

“Noise kills stress. Men pass through a lot.”

Someone else added:

“If a DJ says make some noise, I’m leaving the event 🙌🏽.”

And of course, the conversation wouldn’t be complete without name-dropping, as a fan asked:

“Even if it’s Uncle Vinny?… or only DJs?”

😭
