Music producer Prince Kaybee has set social media buzzing after posting screenshots of a private conversation with a young woman who allegedly slid into his DMs.

The exchange, shared on his official X account, showed a 23-year-old woman reaching out to the hitmaker and asking for his contact details.

The conversation quickly escalated when she persisted after he declined, stating that she still found him interesting despite his hesitation.

Prince Kaybee, however, maintained his stance and made it clear that he was not interested due to the age difference.

The situation unfolded online as part of a broader debate about dating dynamics and age gaps between older men and younger women in the entertainment space.

Adding his voice to the ongoing conversation, he pushed back against the idea that older men are always the ones initiating contact, suggesting instead that younger women often make the first move.

“Hey man, it’s actually the other way around. It’s the 23-year-olds who come. Hope this helps,” he wrote.

The post quickly gained traction, with users split in their reactions.

Some social media users applauded Prince Kaybee for setting boundaries and rejecting the advances, while others used the moment to highlight what they described as double standards in how dating behaviour is judged.

One user commented, “Exactly. They expect gents to decline advances from younger ladies, but don’t hold those women to the same standard for pursuing older gents. It’s a blatant double standard 🤦‍♀️😒”

Another supported his decision, writing, “Some of them come at you in the politest way to destroy you and ruin your life. Great move bro👊🏽”
