The Duke of Sussex, Prince Harry reportedly called a journalist “sugar” and “flirted” in a series of Facebook messages from over a decade ago.
PRINCE HARRY’S ‘FLIRTY’ MESSAGES WITH JOURNALIST
A series of resurfaced messages between Prince Harry and a journalist Charlotte Griffiths, emerged during his lawsuit against the Daily Mail and Mail on Sunday publisher Associated Newspapers. The messages, which date back to over a decade ago between December 2011 and January 2012, showed Prince Harry and the then Mail on Sunday journalist texting back and forth.
“It’s H,incase u were confused by name and picture!!! X,” wrote Prince Harry in one message dated 4 December 2011, according to Page Six.
“What a fun weekend of naughtiness – can’t we all get up to no good in the countryside every weeked damn it?? Smooches,” replied Griffiths.
Griffiths referred to Prince Harry as “Mr. Mischief” in a message, also asked how he “got that title” before complaining he had to “make polite conversation with strange people at a dinner” while “begging them for money for charity.”
A month later the journalist called Harry “H bomb” and wrote “we missed you so much at Arthur’s last week.”
Prince Harry then called Griffiths “sugar”.
“I WISH I was there sugar but unfortunately stuck in Cornwall doing Army stuff. Otherwise I would have been there playing and then drinking u under the table, obvi!!,” he wrote.
He went on to say he missed their movie “snuggles”.
“Just wish I could have been there…especially now that you’re there! Dou ever work?!!…. Hope you’re really well Griff…Miss our movie snuggles!! I’m off comms all week incase u think I’m being rude, keep me posted xxx xxx xxx,” as per the publication.
POST-CHELSEY DAVY BEFORE MEGHAN MARKLE
These Facebook messages reportedly took place after Prince Harry and his Zimbabwean-ex Chelsey Davy split. This was also before he began dating Cressida Bonas. So, this was long before his relationship with now-wife Meghan Markle. Prince Harry and Meghan got married at St George’s Chapel, Windsor Castle in May 2018.
The pair quit their roles as senior working members of the royal family and moved to the US, where they started a new life with their kids – Prince Archie (6) and Princess Lilibet (4).
