Prince Harry leaves Joe Marler speechless: ‘I’m not ginger’

Prince Harry appeared on Joe Marler Will See You Now recently where his comedic talent was on full display.

Joe Marler Will See You Now is a popular British comedy interview and podcast hosted by former English rugby player Joe Marler and co-host Jake Bhardwaj.

The interview is part of the One Year To Go milestone for Invictus Games Birmingham 2027, where the prince spoke about recovery, friendship, mental fitness and the power of finding purpose after adversity.

A little snippet of the interview showed the prince’s sense of humour, with him poking fun at the ‘misconception’ of him being a ginger.

“What do people most often get wrong about you?” Marler asked him.

“That I’m not ginger,” responded Prince Harry.

“Hang on, hang on, hang on. People get that wrong?” Marler asked.

“Yeah, yeah, yeah. People think I’m ginger, but I’m more sort of like sunset, like Auburn,” said Prince Harry, to the amusement of the off-camera people in the room.

Prince Harry turned to them.

“I don’t know why that’s funny,” said Prince Harry.

“Can we not laugh at the Duke, please,” asked Bhardwaj.

“Unless you would call me Ginge, you know. I got bullied a lot at school, called ‘carrot-top, weren’t I?” said Prince Harry, causing Marler and Bhardwaj to stifle their laugh.

“I don’t know why they would do it. Not funny. It’s not funny,” said Marler, with his face hiding behind his hand.

“I’m going to need therapy after this,” chuckled the prince.
