Prince Archie turned seven on Wednesday 6 May. His mom, Meghan Markle took to Instagram to pen a short and sweet post on his birthday. She shared a photo of her husband, Prince Harry carrying his son, revealing his face. The next slide was a photo of Archie with his sister, Princess Lilibet, who the couple welcomed in June 2021.

“7 years later…happy birthday to our sweet boy 🤍,” she wrote.

Prince Archie was born in 2019, a year before Prince Harry and Meghan quit their roles as senior working members of the royal family and moved to California to start a new life in 2020. The pair have been living in Montecito since.

Meghan also share rare footage of her kids along with Prince Harry while on a ski trip.

PRINCE HARRY WANTED TO RAISE HIS KIDS DIFFERENTLY

The Duke of Sussex opened up about wanting to parent their kids differently during an event hosted by Movember, while the couple was on a four-day trip to Australia in April. He expressed that kids are their upgrade.

“I see parenting evolving over time. Our kids are our upgrade. Not to say that I upgraded my dad or that my kids upgraded me, but the kids that we bring up in today’s world need to be upgraded,” he said.

“There’s no judgement, there’s no blame. However you are parenting… you are going to want to improve on that,” he continued.

Harry also emphasised that therapy played a role in preparing him for fatherhood.

“Certainly from a therapy standpoint, you want to be the best version of yourself for your kids. I knew that I had stuff from the past that I needed to deal with,” he continued.
