PRESIDENT RAMAPHOSA DISMISSES ARTHUR FRASER’S CRIMINAL CONDUCT CLAIMS

President Cyril Ramaphosa
President Cyril Ramaphosa has admitted that there was a multi-million Rand robbery at his Phala Phala farm in Limpopo, around February 2020. Ramaphosa says the millions stolen were from the sale of game from his farm.
Ramaphosa’s statement comes after former spy and correctional services commissioner Arthur Fraser laid criminal charges against the President — claiming Ramaphosa concealed and never reported the alleged theft of $4 million to the police. Fraser also accused Ramaphosa of kidnapping and bribing the alleged thieves to keep quiet.
The allegations have also raised questions about whether Ramaphosa declared the revenue and profits to SARS.
The presidency says the claims have “no basis.”
According to Fraser. The funds came from the proceeds of a previously sold game. The suspects were allegedly kidnapped and interrogated on the President’s home before being bribed for their quiet, according to Fraser.
He accuses Ramaphosa of lying to the police and SARS about the crime. This has been refuted by Ramaphosa.
He says he was at an African Union Summit at the time of the robbery and reported the matter to the head of the Presidential Protection Unit.
Ramaphosa says he’s ready to co-operate with any investigation into the matter.
