President Cyril Ramaphosa to Visit KZN

President Cyril Ramaphosa is expected today, on 13 April to visit KwaZulu-Natal which has been battered by heavy rains since the weekend.

Ramaphosa’s visit aims to offer support to the affected communities and assess the damage and the response of the government and civil society.

President Ramaphosa said that “This is a tragic toll of the force of nature and this situation calls for an effective response by government in partnership with communities’’

The presidency continued saying that “This situation calls on us to come together as a nation”
