With Mamelodi Sundowns having been in CAF Champions League action at the weekend, Ronwen Williams, Khuliso Mudau, Aubrey Modiba, Teboho Mokoena, Jayden Adams and Iqraam Rayners will get the night off against Nicaragua. We could see the likes of Sipho Chaine, Thabang Matuludi and Bradley Cross feature after being named in the official 26-man squad. Kickoff is at 18:00 on Friday, 29 May.

Orlando Pirates dominate Bafana squad
Eight Orlando Pirates players will be boarding the plane, which isn’t a massive shock given their recent title success. They are Sipho Chaine, Nkosinathi Sibisi, Kamogelo Sebelebele, Thalente Mbatha, Oswin Appollis, Tshepang Moremi, Relebohile Mofokeng and Evidence Makgopa. Mofokeng got by far the loudest cheer from his peers when Hugo Broos announced the 21-year-old’s name during Wednesday’s ceremony.
