It never rains but pours for controversial poet and musician Ntsiki Mazwai. Lately, she has been making all sorts of headlines with her defamatory comments, but it seems as if DJ Fresh and Euphonik went after her. In the wake of their controversial rape allegations, Ntsiki Mazwai went to social media and lashed out at the two celebrated DJs for taking advantage of the less privileged and abusing them.
To make even matters worse, she went on to call the two rapists in separate conversations. However, DJ Euphonik and Fresh didn’t take it lightly and pressed charges against Ntsiki Mzwai.
DJ Euphonik has won his case against the controversial poet after appearing before the High Court in the mix of things. The High Court didn’t take the issue lightly and ordered Mazwai to pay DJ Euphonik around R200 000 in court costs. The incident happened in 2020, but it was postponed from 2021 to 2022.

This is undoubtedly a massive blow as she was also slapped with a similar fine after losing her case against DJ Fresh. The court also ordered her to pay around R200 000 on legal fees. The hefty defamation fees come after the DJs clarified how much she earns. Of interest is the fact that her appearance fee on Podcast and Chill with MacG was used as a reference.
A few months ago, controversial podcaster MacG let the cat out of the bag after revealing that Ntsiki Mazwai wanted a hefty payout to feature as a guest on Podcast and Chill with MacG. MacG has it that Mazwai needed something around R70,000 as an appearance fee.
She has fast become one of Mzansi’s finest, with a decades-long illustrious career. Undoubtedly, she has become the pioneer of poetry and radical feminism, demonstrating her willingness to take risks.
