Orlando Pirates are on a mission to lift a third domestic cup of the season as Motsepe Foundation Championship side Casric Stars visit the Orlando Amstel Arena at 18:00.

Following Wednesday’s 2-1 loss to Mamelodi Sundowns at FNB, coach Abdeslam Ouaddou has made changes in defence and the attack.

ROAD TO THE FINAL 16

The Buccaneers booked their spot in the next round with a commanding 4–1 win over Tshakhuma Tsha Madzivhandila (TTM) at Moses Mabhida Stadium.

Despite early pressure from the Limpopo-based ABC Motsepe League side, Orlando Pirates pulled away to register one of the biggest winning margins of the round, keeping their domestic quadruple dream alive in 2026.

Casric Stars, nicknamed “The Believers,” advanced with an impressive 3–0 away victory over Army Rockets from the third division’s ABC Motsepe League. Casric Stars’ journey to the Round of 32 had already tested them, as they had to navigate a preliminary qualifier, edging past fellow second-tier team Black Leopards 1–0 before making their mark in the main draw.

ORLANDO PIRATES EXPERIENCE IN THE NEDBANK CUP

The Sea Robbers have won the Nedbank Cup title twice in their last three seasons, most recently securing a back-to-back triumph in 2024. Although they reached a third consecutive final in 2025, they were defeated 2-1 by their arch-rivals, Kaizer Chiefs.
