Orlando Pirates and Sekhukhune United have announced their starting line-ups for their DStv Premiership clash at Orlando Stadium this afternoon.

Pirates need four points out of a possible six to secure their second spot in the league, if SuperSport United, in third, don’t drop further points in their remaining games.

The last time the Sea Robbers finished in the top two was four seasons ago which also proved the last time they competed in the CAF Champions League.

The 2022 MTN8 winners have been consistent in trying to secure the second spot while reaching the Nedbank Cup final has been a promising season for debutant Jose Riveiro.

Babina Noko on the other side has a different mission of finishing inside the top eight for the first time in the club’s history.

Brandon Truter’s lads have already made history after reaching the first-ever final for the club and being confirmed to have qualified for CAF Confederations Cup.

United is sitting seventh and two points above ninth-placed Lamontville Golden Arrows and the final before the final proves a massive test of their character in Soweto today.

It has been a close contest between the two sides in the past, but the last time they faced each other, Sekhukhune United were victorious, even so, the Buccaneer has a better record than them having won two out of three fixtures.

Pirates XI: Chaine, Xoki, Mthethwa, Mako, Hotto, Makhaula, Monare, Dlamini, Saleng, Erasmus, Dzvukamanja.

Subs: Mpontshane, Nga, Ratomo, Makgopa, Nldondldo, Sibisi, Makaringe, Motshwari, Monyane.
