Pirates’ Next Away Game In SA

Orlando Pirates will not have to leave South Africa when they play their next away game in the CAF Confederation Cup.

Pirates, who lost 3-2 to Al-Ittihad on Sunday, are scheduled to play Royal Leopards from eSwatini in their next game.

However the Swazi Observer reports that due to CAF ruling that the Mavuso Sports Centre did not meet international standards, the Eswatini outfit will be playing their home games at the Mbombela Stadium in Nelspruit.

Leopards suffered a 2-0 loss to JS Saoura on the weekend, who Pirates had beaten at Orlando Stadium two weeks ago.

Pirates, Al-Ittihad and Saoura are all on three points in Group B, while Leopard are on zero.

However while Pirates and Saoura have played twice, the other two have only played once.
